Arnhem Land
Apologies but way too many photos in this post!
Arnhem Land has been a real treat. Unspoilt, massive, dramatic wilderness. We stayed at Davidsons Safari Lodge and have been spoilt rotten. It is going to be hard to recrossed the East Alligator River and return to camping!
Davidson’s was glamping accommodation (with a definate emphasis on the glam, rather than the camping), with twice daily guided excursions to unbelievable places. We have been treated to fabulous vistas of the wetlands and the escarpments, abundant wildlife, incredible access to aboriginal art and burial sites, spectacular accommodation, and excellent food.
It has been an unforgettable and highly recommended experience.

Exploring caves that had burial sites (we where very privilaged to see these, amazing) and masses of really well preserved art

The rainbow serpent… in the story we heard he ate. noisy children (perhapd James had had enough of the kids)

Holly Alex……. your Hats look sooo good. Keep having such fun.
Clive Sarah……. photos up to standard…. glad you are being
pampered in great resort……. Crocodile steaks?
