Kakadu 1, Cooinda
Our top end adventure began in Kakadu National Park where we stayed at Cooinda. From here we have been on the Yellow Water billabong, and explored the areas around Jim Jim Falls and Nourlangie Rock.

Driving to Jim Jim Falls…
Kakadu is stunning. Lush green forests, massive rocky escarpments and wide open flood plains. At this time of year the billabongs are beginning to contract and the wildlife is more concentrated around the waterholes.

Thermals and Uggs are now well and truly gone, and the warm stuff has been stuffed into an inaccessible corner of the trailer. Daytime temperatures are 30-35 degrees dropping to a comfortable overnight 20.
